From Johnny's 1959 album, "I Got Rhythm" This was Johnny's third album for ABC at a time when they appeared to be grooming him in the Johnny Mathis mold. "I Got Rhythm" was Johnny's third album for ABC and while he could certainly handle the standards, he broadened his appeal to become a very accomplished soul artist, eventually reaching #1 with "I Can See Clearly Now" in 1972. Along the way, he wrote "What Kind Of Love Is This", a Top-20 hit for Joey Dee & The Starlighters in 1962 and formed a record label, which was the first to sign the Cowsills in 1965.
