In our videos, we’re solving the puzzles of pain by uncovering how everyday habits, movement patterns, and body imbalances create discomfort — and how to fix them! Lately I've noticed something interesting in the massage community. Therapists seem to be splitting into two groups. One group is excited about artificial intelligence. The other group is afraid of it. Some therapists believe AI is going to destroy massage therapy, take away jobs, and replace human connection. I understand those concerns. Whenever a new technology appears, people naturally worry about what it means for the future. But after using AI every day in my own business, I see it very differently. I don't see AI replacing massage therapists. I see AI replacing the work that keeps therapists away from doing what they actually love. Think about it. Did you become a massage therapist because you wanted to spend hours answering emails? Returning phone calls? Writing SOAP notes? Scheduling appointments? Posting on social media? Writing blog articles? Managing reviews? Probably not. You became a therapist because you wanted to help people. That's where AI shines. It doesn't replace your hands. It doesn't replace your experience. It doesn't replace your intuition. It simply gives you back your time. Today, AI can answer common questions from clients. It can book appointments. It can send reminders. It can help write SOAP notes after a session. It can organize treatment plans. It can create home exercise programs. It can help you write blog posts, social media content, emails, newsletters, and educational material. It can even analyze posture, measure joint angles with certain applications, and help organize assessment information. That means less time sitting behind a computer... And more time helping people. Some therapists tell me, "But AI isn't human." I completely agree. And that's exactly why I'm not worried. AI cannot replace genuine human touch. It can't feel tissue. It can't notice subtle changes in muscle tone under its fingertips. It can't build trust with a client through presence, empathy, and experience. Those are human skills. Those are your superpowers. The therapists who should be worried aren't the ones constantly learning. They're the ones refusing to adapt. Every generation has new tools. Years ago people resisted online booking. Then websites. Then online reviews. Then social media. Today it's AI. Tomorrow it will be something else. Technology keeps moving. The question isn't whether it will arrive. The question is whether you'll learn to use it. For me, AI has become one of the best business partners I've ever had. It helps me save time. It helps me stay organized. It helps me communicate better. It helps me create educational content. And because it handles so much of the administrative work, I have more energy to focus on my clients, my students, and my family. That's a win. My advice is simple. Don't fight the future. Learn it. Understand it. Use it wisely. Because AI is just another tool. Just like a massage table. Just like a foam roller. Just like a percussion gun. A tool is only as good as the person using it. And the therapist behind the tool will always matter more than the tool itself. I'd love to hear your opinion. Do you use AI in your massage practice? Or are you still skeptical? What has been your biggest concern—or your biggest success—with AI? Let's start an honest conversation Whether you’re struggling with back pain, neck tension, shoulder stiffness, or posture-related discomfort, this episode will help you understand the root causes and not just the symptoms.
