I like to show all aspects of keeping large snakes, including them eating. Perhaps, for some, feeding snakes is controversial, graphic, and offensive. This is a completely natural behavior for them and is something I have to do out of necessity. Rabbits are tossed into cage for my own safety and well being do to the nature of pythons during. These rabbits can jump further than the distance I tossed them into cage. These are not pets they are meat rabbits raised outdoors in wire cages. Rabbits were injured by unleashed dog that was allowed to roam freely. During that time at least 8 does miscarried and one broke its legs, all from someone's dog that wouldn't leave them alone. weak, sick or injured are fed to snakes first. I do not let them go to waste. I feed live out of necessity not for personal satisfaction although I love to watch snakes eat their prey, the main reason is because 3 out of 4 of those snakes will likely refuse if given anything else, by feeding live I can usually get a better feeding response. I do not want their food to go to waste. Oftentimes snakes are more efficient at killing the prey than I am. When I mentioned I don't have time to pre kill them, or more simply put the snakes are quicker at doing it than I am.
