Welcome back to CMF Kids! This time we're in Seoul, South Korea, staying at ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun in their huge 2 Bedroom Honour Suite — an 82m² suite right in central Seoul with enough space for our family of five! As always, fully narrated by 8 year old Freddie, with expert commentary from 15 year old big sis Celina and 13 year old big bro Maxi. 🏨 Our Setup - Two Bedroom Honour Suite Our suite: • 82m² of space • 2 separate bedrooms • 3 proper beds • 1 King Bed • 1 Queen Bed • 1 Super Single Bed • Large separate living area • Plenty of room for a family of five • Modern bathroom • Free Wi-Fi For us, the biggest advantage was simply Space Finding a single hotel room that comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 3 children can be surprisingly difficult, especially in a major city like Seoul. Instead of booking two separate hotel rooms, all five of us could stay together while still having proper bedrooms and a large living area where everyone could spread out and relax. After a huge day exploring Seoul, having 82m² and an actual living room rather than squeezing five people into a standard hotel room made a massive difference! 💰 How much did we pay? Our 4 night stay in the 2 Bedroom Honour Suite cost approximately KRW 3.7 million including taxes. That's around A$3,700 for four nights, or roughly A$925 per night depending on the exchange rate. Obviously that's not cheap, but when you consider this is an 82m² two-bedroom suite for five people in central Seoul, and compare it with the cost of booking two good hotel rooms, we thought it offered really good value for the amount of space. 📍 LOCATION – Excellent for Exploring Seoul ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun is located in Jung-gu in central Seoul, only a short walk from City Hall Station. Nearby you'll find: 🏯 Sungnyemun / Namdaemun Gate 🛍️ Namdaemun Market 🏰 Deoksugung Palace 🚇 City Hall Station 🍜 Loads of restaurants and cafés 🛒 Convenience stores and shopping Being close to the Metro made exploring such a massive city surprisingly easy. From here you can easily head out to: 📍 Myeongdong 📍 Gyeongbokgung Palace 📍 Bukchon Hanok Village 📍 Insadong 📍 N Seoul Tower 📍 Dongdaemun 📍 Han River 📍 Gangnam 🏊 Hotel Facilities & Suite Living One of the things we liked about ENA is that you get the extra space of a large suite while still having proper hotel facilities. 🏊 Indoor swimming pool 👧 Children's pool 🏋️ Fitness centre 🍝 R.ENA Italian restaurant 🍳 Breakfast available 📶 Free Wi-Fi 🛎️ 24-hour front desk 🧺 Laundry facilities The indoor pool was particularly good when travelling with three kids, and obviously Freddie had to thoroughly test it for the review! 😂 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Great for a family of five! This is where ENA Suite Hotel really worked for us. Standard hotel rooms can be difficult when travelling with three children, and booking two separate rooms isn't always ideal. Here we had: ✔️ 82m² suite ✔️ 2 separate bedrooms ✔️ 3 proper beds ✔️ Large living area ✔️ Space for all five of us ✔️ Indoor swimming pool ✔️ Gym ✔️ Central Seoul location ✔️ City Hall Metro nearby ✔️ Namdaemun Market nearby ✔️ Restaurants and shopping everywhere And most importantly, we could all stay together without feeling like we were living on top of each other! ⭐ Our Verdict If you're visiting Seoul as a family of five and want plenty of space without having to book multiple hotel rooms, ENA Suite Hotel Namdaemun is definitely worth considering. The Honour Suite isn't cheap at around A$925 per night during our stay, but you're getting a genuinely large 82m² two-bedroom suite in a very convenient central Seoul location. For us, the combination of space, location, pool and easy Metro access made it a really practical family base for exploring Seoul. Best of all, after spending all day sightseeing, we could come back to a proper suite where everyone had room to spread out and relax.
