Recently this indie game made by a youtuber has blown up. So what is snaptic? Let’s talk about it. So snaptic is a channel that makes animations featuring 3d stickmen, you might’ve seen some of these before they have a ton of views. They announced they’re making a game, and yesterday the kickstarter went up for it. Snaptic is a 3d puzzle platformer. It takes place inside an abandoned laptop from 2007. As you play you can encounter things like chat logs and camcorder footage along with various characters. You have to uncover what happened before the files are destroyed. The soundtrack is inspired by early internet aesthetics like vaporwave and synth sounds. The kickstarter already surpassed it’s funding goal, sitting at over 150%. They have a bunch of stretch goals like guest composers and console ports as well. Overall i think this game looks wonderful, it’s got so much personality. Right off the bat it reminds me so much of one of my favourite games ena dream bbq. Auralyn even looks similar to ena too.
