Canada Is Hiding Something Nobody Talks About There's a waterfall in Canada that has moved eleven kilometres from the place where it started. There's a ring in the ground, seventy-two kilometres across, that astronauts pick out from orbit. And in 2016, two out of every three Canadians were living on four percent of the land. Canada looks like the country with room to spare: the second-largest on Earth, with the longest coastline and more lakes than anyone has counted. Then half of it turns out to be bare rock, a lake the size of a sea turns out to be missing, a river comes up over its own flat floor, and the ground around Hudson Bay turns out to be still rising. Thirty facts, counting down, and by number one you'll see why most of them trace back to one thing that happened to Canada, and still isn't finished.
