And they had a $500 BILLION budget that they promised to grow to whatever the project needed. So the world was CONVINCED that if any country on Earth could pull this off, it would be SAUDI ARABIA. But then something SHOCKING happened. 9 YEARS after the announcement. $50 BILLION SPENT. And 98% of THE LINE is STILL UNBUILT.
