Only now in 2010 do most people have the hardware to truly appreciate this game with decent visuals, and indeed only with the latest generation cards can we run the game at maximum settings smoothly, with even a bit of antialiasing thrown in to boot while keeping very playable framerates. Retail version of Crysis is used with 1.2.1 Patch, Delta difficulty level, running in DX10 at 1920x1200, all settings to maximum (Very High), and 4x Antialiasing applied within the game. No mods have been added to the game. The only additional tweaks used in my System.cfg file are: con_restricted=0 r_texturesstreaming=0 r_TexMaxAnisotropy=16 Along with +r_width 1920 +r_height 1200 +r_fullscreen 1 in the launch icon's command line to force 1920x1200 fullscreen resolution upon launch.
