Pravaig Dynamics has built India's most advanced electric tactical four wheeler, VEER. They design application-specific vehicles, battery packs, and related systems in Bengaluru. Work on Pravaig began in 2011, and Siddhartha Bagri (CEO) and Dhawal Khullar (CTO) are the co-founders. An early show car, referred to as the Mark 1 and as a generation 6 technology platform, was built around 2016 and shown after the company came out of stealth in Bengaluru around 2020. That car combined battery, motor, inverter, gearbox, and chassis work as a concept. Siddhartha Bagri and Dhawal Khullar later took that same core stack through further generations. Now, in 2026, Pravaig is on their generation 9 platform, with generation 10 in development for more energy per kilogram and a better power-to-weight ratio. Pravaig's flagship vehicle, Veer, is an all-terrain tactical platform. In March of 2025, Veer received an iDEX award from the Ministry of Defence for forward patrolling, reconnaissance, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance work. Veer is quiet, field repairable, made with Indian technology, and designed so that vehicle data is not controlled by a foreign party. It is primarily electric and also has a flex-fuel generator that can run on petrol, ethanol, or other legally available Indian fuels after the battery is used. The battery pack is 108 kWh and weighs about 550 kg, with about 5,500 cells. The vehicle uses dual motors. Peak output is described as about 400 hp. Veer can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, and can carry a payload of 1,000 kg. Real-world range is more than 400 km on a consistent basis, and 520 to 550 km in Ladakh forward areas where thinner air reduces drag. The vehicle is about 3 tonnes fully loaded, with about 250 mm of suspension travel. The current manufacturing plant is a low-volume, high-mix pilot line. The company said it can build about 100 vehicles a month, or about 1,200 a year, and that a larger plant is being set up. Body panels are laser-cut and formed on a 9-axis CNC bending machine. The structure is a tubular space frame rather than a ladder frame. Dhawal Khullar told us that load-bed ribs and similar sheet parts are also bent in-house. Welding on site includes laser, TIG, and MIG. Glass, tyres, rims, and suspension hardware are bought from vendors to the company's specification. More than 85% of the bill of materials is made in India, with the remaining 15% being mainly semiconductors. Siddhartha Bagri told us that finished Veer vehicles on the line in 2026 are already sold, and the order book is decent. Revenue in the previous 3 years had come in large part from batteries and contract work before the vehicle platform was certified. The Pravaig Veer includes features like a stealth mode that shuts exterior lights, cabin screens, and the air-conditioner compressor while leaving fans running, a 360-degree thermal camera, isolated displays that unbolt from the vehicle network, drop-down glazing, window stops intended to slow a small drone, and airlift hard points around a centred mass. An armoured kit is offered with a V-shaped hull. The battery pack can used as a field power source for drones, sensors, radios, computing, and other loads. An autonomy add-on is 6 to 8 months away. Battery packs are now reserved for Pravaig's own vehicles because the line is short of capacity, but earlier battery technology was licensed to original equipment manufacturers in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
