Ten new Tory post Brexit trade envoys have been appointed by Liz Truss, the likes of Ian Botham & Kate Hoey, to places like Australia, New Zealand and Ghana to get us great trade deals and promote British exports and produce. Trade envoy's should be appointed on merit, on the basis they have some experience to impart and knowledge of the country they have been appointed to. Liz Truss has appointed a team of envoys 100% of whom are white, to an array of countries 50% of whom the majority of the population is non-white. 80% are male, 70% of these envoys have been appointed it would appear on the basis of their Brexit stance and none on the basis they have any skills or training in trade negotiation or promotion.
