She still believes she did a good job running the charity, but feels the constant optics surrounding her affected the charity in a negative manner. Piers goes on to question Hannah about receiving £18,000 from companies for presenting and receiving awards in Tom’s honour. She explains that she made sure those same people made a donation to Captain Tom’s foundation, which she later admits was only £2,000. Finally they are questioned about making money from the books. Hannah and Colin categorically deny that when the book deal was agreed while Tom was alive, that any of the money made from them was for the foundation but instead for personal gain.
