Lt. Col. Thomas R. āBobā Vaucher turns 102 years old on December 3rd, 2020. Vaucher has had many adventures and accomplishments during his 102 years. Just think of all the changes he has experienced in a century. His adventures started when he earned his wings in April 1941 from the Army Air Corp. Vaucher flew many types of planes. He piloted the B24, B25, B17, B18, and the B29 during WWII. Vaucher had a love affair with the B29. He took possession of the first B29 off of the assembly line in Wichita, Kansas. He completed 117 combat missions in the Pacific Theater during WWII. This video documents just a small accounting of all he has contributed to his country and community. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BOB!
