Romanian food is known for its rich flavors, hearty dishes, and diverse culinary traditions. The cuisine of Romania is a reflection of its history, geography, and influences from neighboring countries. After we have had a walk in the town centre, visiting the Shakespeare birthplace and statue, we've attended to an interesting Romanian Food Festival, kept a little bit outside the town. Here, we've seen and tasted a variety of traditionally made meat and cheese. The attention was focused on the meat cooked on grills / BBQs. This video will also include Simon's first impact, and thoughts about the Romanian food :) Romanian grills are used to cook a variety of meats, offering a wide range of delicious grilled specialties. Here are the top 5 meats commonly cooked on Romanian grills: 1. Mici (Mititei): Mici are small, skinless sausages made from a mixture of ground beef, lamb, and pork. They are a staple of Romanian grilling and are often the star attraction on the grill. 2. Pork: Pork is widely enjoyed and frequently cooked on Romanian grills. Various cuts of pork, such as pork chops, pork ribs, pork tenderloin, and pork belly, are marinated and grilled to perfection. 3. Chicken: Chicken is another popular meat choice for Romanian grills. Marinated chicken wings, chicken breast, and chicken skewers are grilled until tender and flavourful. 4. Lamb: Lamb is cherished in Romanian cuisine, and it finds its way onto the grills as well. Grilled lamb chops, lamb skewers, or even whole lamb cooked on rotisserie spits are common at festive events and special occasions. 5. Sausages: Besides mici, Romanian smoked sausages can be grilled on grills as well. These sausages offer a distinct smoky flavour and are enjoyed by meat lovers. Hope you'll enjoy the video.
