www.misfits.bet *** This post is for those with zero foundational knowledge, zero idea, zero experience, zero mentors — but who wish to give a first and only shot at UPSC 2026. You need 180 days to crack every stage (with laser focus): 4 hours GS and 2 hours Optional daily. This no-nonsense strategy may be contrarian but it works — it has worked for many MisFitters. Step 1: Until 14th November 2025 Relax. Watch movies. Fix your schedule. Take a mini vacation before your 180-day marathon begins. Step 2: On 14th November 2025 Attend the Live MisFits Orientation Masterclass at 3 PM IST with the MisFits Community. We’ll devise the game plan for the next few months and revise it closer to Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. Step 3: From 15th November Let’s be clear: Prelims is just a qualifying exam. It neither defines your rank, service, nor career. The real game begins with your Optional Subject — the single biggest differentiator. How you study, analyze, and practice your optional in the next 60 days will decide your rank. Here’s a detailed step-by-step strategy video to score 300+: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNgZ8iznCRI&t=1020s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obAethOMEAk&t=3162s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_fJCjoupxI&t=146s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grcMAdXneUw&t=3s Step 4: Avoid Newspapers (for now) Newspapers today are mostly noise. We’ll later learn strategic reading through the Azad Parliamentary Fellowship, where we analyze ideas through parliamentary-style debates — philosophy, economics, history, and political theory — applying them to global affairs. Most aspirants waste over an hour daily on newspapers; bring it down to under 30 minutes. Step 5: Focus on Foundations Avoid crash courses, shortcuts, and free YT distractions. If your base is weak, nothing will work. Build strong fundamentals. Phase 1: The Base Layer (15th Nov 2025 – 1st Jan 2026) MisFits episodes form your foundation — complete them at all costs. Prioritize History, Polity, Society, Governance, Geography, and Economics. Without this layer, nothing works. Ignore claims like “50 questions from our test.” UPSC doesn’t reward rote learning — it tests how you think. Your goal is not to know every answer but to form logical conjectures. Even if you know 35 questions, sharp analysis helps you attempt 85% confidently. Base Layer Routine: 2 hrs Optional (PSIR) 4 hrs GS (Economics, History, Polity, Geography, etc.) 30 mins Newspaper via MisFits Deep Dive Phase 2: The Application Layer (1st Jan – 1st Apr 2026) Pause optional prep — 2 months of focus already covers 70% syllabus. Now test your base with mock tests. Attempt 30–35 tests, analyze, and revise them. Your foundation now gives you the ability to form conjectures, eliminate options, and think clearly. UPSC repeats concepts; we’ve focused on those areas. Clear prelims with a big margin — not just scrape through. Cracking prelims is only the beginning. Phase 3: Post-Prelims Strategy (May onwards) After Prelims, take a week off, recharge, then shift focus to three aspects: Aspect 1: Optional Paper (Target 320+) Complete all 120 PSIR episodes (7 seasons) in 60 days. Dedicate the next 20 days to daily 3-hour answer writing. A post-Prelims session will guide you. Ignore crash courses and test series. Aspect 2: Essay (250 Marks) Watch the Essay Playlist. A post-Prelims session will break down essay writing strategy. Aspect 3: Ethics & Structure (250 Marks) Watch the Ethics Playlist and Masterclass on Structures. This alone gives an edge. Keep revising Economics (30 episodes) until Prelims results. Phase 4: After Mains Results Attend 7–10 lectures to prepare for interviews. Scoring 200+ is very achievable. Interviews are the easiest and most enjoyable part of the UPSC cycle. If you were part of the MisFits Community, this module is free. Stop wasting time on free YouTube videos or crash courses. Most are substandard. Minimize resources, maximize revision of those limited resources. Wishing you the very best — may you reach your fullest potential and achieve your greatest aspirations in 2026 ❤️ Enrollment link: https://www.misfits.bet/
