Canarm CP36 36" industrial ceiling fan in black, shown using a typical variable speed control for better range. Came in original packaging, seems to have been some sort of return at some point. Wasn't packed super great when it came to me, so hard to tell what damages might have occurred when. Mainly just some small missing bits of paint near the base of the blades, the more major thing is an unfortunate dent on the side of the motor. Doesn't really show much considering the black finish, unless you know to look for it. In motion it's pretty hard to notice, and thankfully doesn't affect performance. This general type of CP36 in white is major childhood for me, so I overall just like them, but I feel like black is pretty seldom-seen and couldn't resist grabbing it. These are pretty middle ground in every sense when it comes to small metal blade fans. Nothing particularly special in terms of build or performance, but they do decently and have a great appearance. One of the few 36" options of recent years that offered curved blades, which I always love. This one thankfully responded pretty well to the variable speed. A bit of volume in some of the middle ranges, but really not too bad. I usually don't use them in videos these days because half the comments end up being "sO nOiSy" or "wHy DoEs ThAt FaN hUm", but I really wanted a better range than I can get with any of my stock capacitor-based controls.
