Storytime! My family thought I was just sleeping for 3 days straight! â¨Recipe: Ingredients: ⢠½ cup granulated sugar ⢠ž cup brown sugar ⢠1 tsp salt ⢠½ cup unsalted butter, browned ⢠1 large egg ⢠1 egg yolk ⢠1 tsp vanilla extract ⢠1Âź cups all-purpose flour ⢠½ tsp baking soda ⢠Ÿ tsp baking powder ⢠8 oz semi-sweet baking chocolate, chopped ⢠½ cup chocolate chips (optional) ⢠Graham crackers (broken into squares) ⢠Marshmallows (cut in half or whole, depending on size) Directions: 1. Brown the butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook the butter until it foams and turns golden brown. Pour into a heat-safe bowl and chill in the freezer until cool but not solid. 2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and cooled browned butter. Add the egg, extra yolk, and vanilla, then beat until the mixture is light and ribbony. 3. Sift in the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gently fold until just combinedâdonât overmix. 4. Fold in the chopped chocolate and optional chocolate chips. 5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place a graham cracker square and a marshmallow half as the base, then top each with a cookie dough ball. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour. 6. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 12â15 minutes, rotating the tray halfway through for even baking. 7. Optional (but highly recommended): Use a round cookie cutter to swirl and shape your cookies while theyâre still hot. Press extra chocolate chunks on top for that bakery-style finish. 8. Let cookies cool on the tray for 10â12 minutes. Serve warm and gooey, or let them cool and save for laterâeither way, theyâre amazing!
