The 7 Levels of Tyrannosaurs Explained The very first tyrannosaur was smaller than you, and it spent its whole life running from things that wanted to eat it. The last one was T. rex. In this video I climb all seven levels of the tyrannosaur family, from the fuzzy little Jurassic runts at the bottom all the way up to the king, and we meet a lot of the weird ones along the way. We start with Guanlong and its paper-thin crest, then Yutyrannus, a nine-metre tyrannosaur we can prove was covered in feathers. Next is Timurlengia, a horse-sized animal that already had the brain of a T. rex, followed by the long-nosed "Pinocchio rex," a teenage Gorgosaurus that still had its last meal in its stomach, and a Tarbosaurus that was smuggled out of Mongolia and sold at an auction in New York. At the top is T. rex itself, along with Nanotyrannus, the smaller rival that lived right beside it and that scientists only really confirmed as its own animal last year. If you've ever wondered why T. rex had tiny arms, whether it had feathers, or how a family of small, fluffy underdogs turned into the most famous predators of all time, this video covers all of it. Thanks for watching, and let me know in the comments which level was your favourite. #TRex #Dinosaurs #Paleontology For Sponsors and Biz: [email protected] tyrannosaurs, tyrannosaurus rex, t rex, 7 levels of tyrannosaurs, seven levels of tyrannosaurs, tyrannosaur evolution, tyrannosaur family tree, dinosaurs, paleontology, dinosaur documentary, nanotyrannus, tarbosaurus, gorgosaurus, albertosaurus, daspletosaurus, yutyrannus, guanlong, dilong, timurlengia, khankhuuluu, qianzhousaurus, pinocchio rex, alioramus, lythronax, nanuqsaurus, dryptosaurus, feathered dinosaurs, did t rex have feathers, t rex arms, t rex bite force, dinosaur facts, new dinosaur discoveries, spinosnack
