Hajj 2026 | 16 Blessed Days — Day 5 | Mina | Ep - 6 Assalamu Alaikum and welcome to **Day 5 of my Hajj 2026 journey — 16 Blessed Days**. In this episode, I leave Aziziyah and begin the next major stage of my first Hajj: **the journey to Mina**. Around 2 AM, I left my hotel in Aziziyah and made my way to the bus pickup area. The streets were filled with pilgrims preparing to travel to Mina, many dressed in Ihram and reciting the beautiful words, **“Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik.”** The atmosphere was emotional and unforgettable as thousands of Hajj pilgrims began moving toward Mina together. After waiting for our bus, we finally departed for Mina at approximately 2:30 AM. With thousands of pilgrims traveling at the same time, the roads were extremely busy. Buses were lined up bumper-to-bumper, turning what would normally be a short journey into approximately an hour of travel. When we finally arrived in **Mina, Saudi Arabia**, volunteers helped us find our tent and sleeping area. I was fortunate to arrive early, giving me a unique opportunity to see our section of the Mina camp almost completely empty before hundreds of pilgrims arrived. After settling in, I prayed Fajr and went to sleep. When I woke up, the entire atmosphere had transformed. The tent was now filled with pilgrims, and outside, **Mina Tent City** was alive with thousands of Hajj pilgrims from different countries and backgrounds. In this episode, I share what life was like inside our Mina tent, including the sleeping arrangements, food, facilities, prayers, and daily routine of pilgrims. Despite the enormous number of people gathered in Mina, I was impressed by how organized and clean many areas were. We spent the day praying, eating, resting, and learning about the next stages of Hajj. More than 100 men gathered together for Salah in our section, and praying behind our Imam was a deeply meaningful experience. Our **Muallem and Maulana** also gave us important guidance about Hajj, including what to expect at **Arafat, Muzdalifah**, and during the remaining days of Hajj. Their advice helped us prepare spiritually and practically for what was coming next. One memorable part of the day was dinner. I have been vegetarian since 1994, but on this special Hajj journey, I decided to accept and eat the food provided to me. It became another small but meaningful part of this unforgettable experience. As night approached, we began preparing for **Arafat**, the most important day of Hajj. The excitement, anticipation, and spiritual atmosphere inside the Mina camp were difficult to describe.
