He eventually discovered that pain, suffering, and death were inevitable eventualities of human life which left him deeply distressed. He renounced his life at the palace and set forth on his spiritual journey into the mountains in search of enlightenment. However, his journey was a long and arduous one. Starving and bone-tired, Siddhartha wandered through the mountains feeling lost and helpless. Eventually, he sat down atop a mountain and started meditating. As he slipped deep into meditation, he heard distant voices rising through the hills along with a symphony of instruments. Slowly, musicians appeared sitting on top of colossal pillars scattered across the mountains in front of him. They seemed to be waiting for him as if they knew he would come. Here they sing an ode to him - to tell him that what he is seeking outside, he should actually seek within; to tell him that he himself was the divine he sought; to tell him that right now he had nothing, and in that, he had everything. Sifar is the journey of how Siddhartha became Buddha. Sifar is the awakening of God.
