Gansu from South to North (part 7) - Jiayuguan, Gansu is the next stop on the journey. Jiayuguan fort is regarded as the western end of the Ming dynasty Great Wall of China and, although a bit touristy - is still worth a visit! From here onwards Gansu is very much desert landscape - The Gobi Desert surrounding a few oasis towns such as Jiayuguan City. Apologies for the wind noise coming through on the camera - it was a hot windy day in the Gobi! Almost at the end of this journey now - keep an eye out for my video on Dunhuang - coming soon!
