These numbers are important because they're used to guide your decision on what to do next with your physique. Now, one big issue with estimating body fat percentages at a certain body weight is that you might stumble upon a lot of inaccurate numbers and estimates. This is typical when comparing your stats to someone else's. Many guys will claim that they're at 8% body fat with a bodyweight of 200 lbs at 5ft 8 naturally, which is quite unrealistic. Numbers such as these can make it discouraging mentally to keep working on developing your physique and make it harder to determine realistic goals, especially if you're starting out. In this video, you will see examples of different body fat percentages from my fitness journey well as which weight I had at the time. At 5f 10, I've been between 158 lbs up to 180 lbs staying between 8% body fat and 16% body fat. This will give you a good idea of how these body fat percentages look for a natural lifter. I don't consider myself as blessed with great genetics for fitness, and these numbers are realistic for most people.
