In Avatar Korra’s Sequel Comic once she FINALLY makes it back to republic city, Korra and Tenzin walk out of their tent and looking around, our avatar is shocked by the amount of people that were displaced by her battle with Kuvira and all the chaos that followed, as a crowd starts to form around her because this is STILL set during a time where people LOVE the Avatar and look to her for guidance, so that’s what she does. Korra apologizes to EVERYONE saying if there’s anything she can do to be of service then to please let her know, as everyone starts to chime in telling her they want her to heat up their food, one girl says her Flying Sky Bison Plushie is missing its eye, one family says that they got separated from their dog in the attack and wants Korra to help them, and then there are other even more serious requests like a man begging Korra to come and speak to his sick wife because maybe it’d make her feel better, or another family with 4 kids that tells her that they’d REALLY appreciate it if she could talk to the president because they need REAL homes, not these temporary ones.
