On August 21, 2026, Thai Airways Flight TG921, which was traveling from Frankfurt to Bangkok using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with registration HS-TKK experienced a landing gear failure after takeoff. The left main gear did not fully retract during climb out from runway, compelling the Thai Air crew to declare an emergency and make a safe return to Frankfurt approximately 70–80 minutes later. The Thai Airways HS-TKK incident aeroplane landed safely at Frankfurt International FRA.
