Written by Dick Addrisi and Don Addrisi. Produced by by Nick Cenci and Jack Hakim. Another one of those 60s’ songs that, in spite of being recorded by a number of artists, did not chart. This song was also released by as “Don’t Blame It On Me” by the Association (the b-side of “Cherish”) and the Lettermen (a track from their “Warm” LP) The Vogues’ version is shorter than the one by the Association, indicating that they didn’t see “a-side” potential in the song. The Addrisi brothers were consistent song writers in the 60s and 70s. They wrote “Never My Love” for the Association among others.
