Kasi is deticated by lard siva, Kasi is a city founded by Lord Shiva over five thousand years ago. It is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The town is also known as Varanasi, Mahamayanam, Apiktam and Ananda Bhavanam. The most ancient city. Varanasi derives its name from the fact that it is located between the rivers Varanasi and Hussey. This place is also known as Banaras. He became one of the Navagrahas as a result of worshiping the planet Mercury Kasiviswanatha, which provides education. It is special for students to worship Kasiviswanatha to excel in education. Kasi means light city. They will say that dying in Kasi will give you heaven. It is said that Lord Shiva recites Ramanama in the ears of the dying birds, animals and all living beings when they die. It is also said to recite the Pranava of Om. Moolavar Viswanatha Lingam is small in a ravine from the ground level. Devotees kneel and worship Vishwanath. The head of the lingam is fitted with a gold-plated copper plate. There is a silver plate around the lingam. A vessel is hung on top of the lingam. From there the Ganga Theertham drops fall on the lingam and anoint. At the back of the temple is a separate Nandi, looking at the wall. This is Adi Nandi. The mosque is located on the site of the Adi Viswanathar Temple. Near that Nandi is the Tirtha well called Gnanavavi. The present Kasi Vishwanathar Temple was built in the year 1777. The temple was built by Queen Agalyabai of Indore. This temple is a very small temple. Go on a narrow path to reach the temple. Devotees can do all the worship with the pooja items. There is no need to give to the priest and worship. The Annapurna Temple and the Visalachchi Temple are a short distance apart. Visalachchi Temple is in our southern style. There are also nebulae here. Annapoorni Ambal Temple will host the Annakodi festival on Diwali. Then, Bhavani will come to Ambal Ladder. In the Himalayas, Lord Shiva was neglected and Dakshina performed the Yajna. Dakshin insulted Goddess Parvati who went to prevent their sacrifice by insulting her husband. So Lord Shiva lifted the body of Goddess Parvati, who had been sacrificed, and wandered here and there. Seeing this, Thirumal threw his chakra weapon and clothed the body parts of Goddess Parvati. Every part fell in every place. Relieved of his rage, Lord Shiva brought the rest of his body from Kedara Nath to the majestic Kasi. The body of Goddess Parvati was cremated in the Mahamayanam. Lord Shiva preached the Tharaka mantra in the ear of Goddess Parvati. Then he knew that the earring in his ear had fallen somewhere. There Thirumal was digging a theertham well with his wheel, sitting next to it and doing penance towards Lord Shiva. Shiva approached him and asked about the earring of Goddess Parvati. Thirumal pointed to the well near where he was sitting. When Lord Shiva reached the well, the kundalini in his ear also fell into the well. A Shiva lingam emerged from the well with a bright light. In that Shiva lingam the power of Lord Shiva and the power of Goddess Parvati were united. Thirumal took the Jyotirlinga and consecrated it at Italam. He continued his meditation towards Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva, before Thirumal appeared with Vishwaroopam. To ask for the boon that Thirumal wanted, he always had to bless the people from the Jyotirlinga which he had consecrated here. He also prayed to Lord Shiva to come to the Ganga Italam at the top of his head and worship Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva also gave him the boon he asked for, and he himself is united in light in that lingam and still bless the people today. Due to his devotion to Thirumal, the Shivalingam got the name Viswanathar. Thirumal then married his mother Goddess Parvati, who was incarnated as Visalachchi, to Lord Shiva. Brahma performed many sacrifices and helped them in their marriage. Thus at the request of Thirumal Shiva who appeared as Jyotirlinga is being given as Viswanathar. There are many myths about Kasi.
