Speaking after passengers arrived back in Israel, Musayev said his immediate priority was to save the pilot, who was suffering heavy bleeding. He said the aircraft had lost thousands of feet in a matter of seconds. “I was the only doctor on the plane,” Musayev said, according to The Times of Israel. He said he managed to stop the pilot's bleeding and stabilize his blood pressure. Reports suggest that the aircraft dropped nearly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds after the co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain. Passengers and crew intervened, while other pilots travelling on the flight helped regain control before the aircraft landed safely at Tabuk Airport. Flydubai confirmed there had been an “altercation” on the flight deck and said the aircraft was safely diverted and landed at Tabuk. The airline said the reasons and motives behind the incident remain unknown and are subject to a formal investigation. Passengers, most of them Israeli, later arrived safely back in Israel, where some described the people who intervened as heroes. #Flydubai #FlyDubai1073 #Dubai #TelAviv #Israel #SaudiArabia #Tabuk #Aviation #Flight #Pilot #Dentist #DrShotaMusayev #FlydubaiFlight #CockpitIncident #EmergencyLanding
