Video Recorded on January 12, 2026: So as I started off my San Francisco contents after nearly 10 years long, I initially wanted to kick off with a visit to the Westin St. Francis as my number one, primarily with the glass elevators which is beyond the top most popular and famous elevators all over the Internet just pretty much like the Marriott Marquis in New York City, but I was denied entry because there was a convention going on (this hotel included, the Hotel Nikko, including the Hilton though still easily accessible), and you need credentials to enter during the time of my recent visit. It’s quite sickening that a place like this becoming so iconic all over social media has become less friendly as time goes by. I’m pretty sure more and more famous hotels are not gonna be friendly for long and key-carding the elevators (as I’ve heard somebody got busted at the St. Francis, but the employee was at least friendlier compared to what happened to me at the Hyatt Regency in Phoenix, as well as multiple people got let down at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia). Thank you to post 9/11 and other certain politics for making society full of horrific paranoia that is only gonna get worse indefinitely. But anyways, these are the well-known Otis Elevonic 401 elevators that are in the process of being modernized. At the time of the recording, the modernization was halfway done. From what I was just told, only one elevator car is left original, so you better get it soon for those who are either in or near the SFO/Bay Area division.
