As the cast looks back on all five seasons following the final season's arrival on Netflix, Stokes dropped a bombshell in a joint interview with Bailey for Entertainment Weekly, casually revealing that he once jumped off a boat to save her from drowning on set. The incident happened while filming in Barbados during Season 2. The scene involved JJ getting knocked unconscious off a boat while Kiara holds him above water — and both Bailey and Rudy Pankow had already been treading water for around a minute before the cameras even started rolling. "I was like, 'Oh no, Bails has been under there for a while,'" Stokes recalled. "So I jumped off the boat, and I realized that she was not able to breathe underwater." The most alarming part? The entire crew thought she was just acting really well. "Everyone's like, 'Wow, she's really good!'" Stokes said. "I was like, 'No, she's drowning.'"
