WHO YOU GONNA CALL?! (sadly the credits needed to be cut in YT Editor which is why the movie abruptly ends, the credits were cool, but I'm sure you'll understand ;) ) Thank you for watching Brokebusters! This took roughly two months to make, and it wouldn't be the way it is without all the wonderful people who helped it come to life. If you enjoyed this movie, please consider leaving a like and subscribing as it really helps me out. And if you're interested, consider checking out my other content, I'm sure there's something there you'll like ;) While the thumbnail awards are fake (obviously) Brokebusters did win a few awards at its premiere in my class! (These are real!): - 2024 Fan Choice Award - 2024 Advisors Choice Award - Best Dance Sequence - 2024 Best Film - Best Trailer ABOUT THE MOVIE (for nerds): I make skits. If you have watched any other videos on this channel you will know that's where my comfort zone is. And while It's fun to wade inside your comfort zone, if you never step out of it, you may miss something great. Brokebusters is that step. Actually, it's a leap. No, it's more like a blastoff. Until now, I have created skits that roughly stay around the 5-10 minute range. This is my safe zone. But when I finished writing Brokebusters and saw that it was 19 pages long, I knew I was in for it. And in for it, I was! This movie took roughly a month to create from start to finish, more time than I have ever spent on a project in the history of this channel. The truth that you and I both know is that this movie is very much... imperfect. As someone who always strives to put out only the best of my ability, this was a project I watched and winced at more than once. Sadly, most of the imperfections in this film were out of my control. We had very harsh weather on days we were supposed to shoot, and technological issues with shots failing to record. These were blows to my heart, but like everything, I needed to suck it up, solve it, and move on. The main purpose of this movie is to entertain. I wanted everyone who watched this to laugh at least once, and if that was possible, I was satisfied. But more importantly, I want this movie to be the end of a chapter. Since 2022 I have fully encapsulated myself in the world of film and entertainment, a path that most... don't recover from. But there is nothing in my life that I have found more attachment to, than entertaining people. In the time I have spent making skits on this channel, I have learned more than I could have imagined. But though I have learned a great deal, I have not learned it all. By the time you see this movie, I have already graduated from high school, an important milestone in everyone's life. And because this chapter is ending, a new one is beginning. Because of this, I want to look at Brokebusters as the finishing words to the chapter I have been writing since 2022 when it all began. This is by no means my "Magnum Opus," but it is something I hope to one day look back on and see how far I have progressed. (Hopefully?) Brokebusters was not meant to be analyzed under a microscope. Brokebusters was not made to win an Oscar. Brokebusters was made because I needed it to be. Though I considered it, I knew I couldn't make this and just private it for eternity. I made this for people to see. And so what if it's flawed, because there are things in our lives that we may never get the chance to do again, and I wanted to make sure I could say, "I made a movie."
