Today episode 4 and 5 of season 3 of helluva boss released. Are they any good? Let’s talk about it. Spoiler warning incase you haven’t seen them yet. In 4 wally wackford rips off blitz’s business and we get a massive court case. Stolas and blitz work things out in a massive argument that everyone hears. We get some great scenes with wally and verosika as well. In 5 stella and andre auction off all off stolas’s stuff. We get plenty of flashbacks of stolas’s early adulthood, and learn his backstory with vassago. The episode ends with vassago leaving for dinner with stolas, with blitz upset. So episode 4 is genuinely my favourite episode of the season so far, it was really funny. There was so many hilarious jokes, a couple examples being the show editing what stolas said, loona sleeping through it all and blitz’s jabs at stolas about episode 3. We got some resolution with their relationship as well. Episode 5 i’m a little torn on. First up there’s alot of elements i loved, like stolas’s backstory and the flashbacks. Stella and andre as always stole every scene they were in, they’re such fun villains. Vassago as well is a neat addition to the cast, his voice actor did a tremendous job. It was cool to see blitz get swarmed by his fans as well, you can feel his reputation growing. On the other hand i felt like the pacing was a bit off in that episode. Scenes would fly in a little fast, culminating in the ending with vassago. The show has this sort of it’s over, it’s back, it’s over kind of mentality to it. We get resolution with stolas and blitz’s relationship, and then it’s walked back in the next episode. It’s a little exhausting i can’t lie.
