Stretching 22.6 kilometers in total, this self-driving route is located in the Suping Area in the north of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone, Fuzhou, Fujian Province, and forms part of the sightseeing road network of the Northern Pingtan Ecological Corridor. Winding along the northern coastline, the corridor connects a diverse range of landscapes including sea cliffs, fishing ports, ancient stone dwellings and wind farms, making it one of the most popular coastal self-driving and sightseeing routes in Pingtan. The route starts at the Lu'ao Trail Viewing Platform in the west, and runs eastward through a string of pristine, time-honored fishing villages including Zhongmen Village, Qianzhongmen, Rongshan Village, Zhaokang Village, Baisha Village and Yutang Village, before ending at Dingbilong Fishing Pier. The entire route is largely a smooth two-lane asphalt road. From the viewing platform at the starting point, visitors can enjoy a distant view of the majestic Pingtan Strait Rail-cum-Road Bridge. Along the way, it passes by fishing villages with granite stone houses nestled against the hills, and a distinctive rural section home to the famous "Singing Road", before gradually transitioning to the sweeping wind farms of Changjiang'ao and the coastal scenery of fishing ports. The final destination, Dingbilong Fishing Pier, offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the coastline, where rows of white wind turbines blend seamlessly with the crystal-clear blue sea. On sunny mid-summer days, white wind turbines and the deep blue sea stand out against the blue sky and fluffy clouds, with bright natural lighting and rich, vivid hues filling the entire route with the unspoiled island charm of eastern Fujian. Linking up a rich variety of scenery including the cross-sea bridge, ancient stone house villages, fishing ports with wind turbines and coastal cliffs, this route is a premium self-driving option for an in-depth experience of Pingtan’s pristine island landscapes. #PingtanRoadTrip #FujianIslandTravel #ChinaScenicDrive #HealingScenery #4KScenicDrive #CoastalHighway #FuzhouTravel #IslandHighway
