Nearly 29,000 farmers who voluntarily contributed their lands under the land pooling scheme, along with farmers participating in the second phase of land pooling, are being supported through annual lease payments of ₹40,000 per acre. With financial support from the Central Government and international banks, funding constraints for Amaravati projects have been significantly addressed. Under the supervision of Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana, the use of modern machinery and technical expertise is further speeding up construction activities. Amaravati is being envisioned not just as an administrative capital, but as a future technology-driven metropolitan city capable of creating lakhs of employment opportunities. With improved infrastructure and world-class facilities, Amaravati could attract major companies, investors and professionals from cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai.
