🔴 Live India vs England 3rd ODI 2026 | IND vs ENG 3RD ODI Live Cricket Match Today 2nd Innings Busines Inquiry - [email protected] It has been absolute carnage from England here at Lord’s as they have rewritten the record books and posted a mammoth 387/3 on the board. England have plundered 62 runs from the final three overs. In this series decider, England have more or less batted India out of the contest with a colossal total. Earlier in the day, England won the toss and elected to bat first in this series decider at Lord’s. India surprisingly went in with four frontline seamers, but the decision to leave out Jasprit Bumrah was badly felt as the star pacer missed the game through injury. India's new-ball bowlers struggled to find the right lines and lengths, offering England far too many loose deliveries during the opening powerplay. England made the most of the early opportunity and raced to 58/0 by the end of the first powerplay. The England openers continued to milk the Indian attack, which looked short of penetration and lacked its usual bite throughout the innings. At the halfway stage, England were cruising at 163/0, with the absence of Jasprit Bumrah being keenly felt as India struggled to make inroads. It was only at the stroke of the second drinks break that India finally broke the mammoth opening stand, as Jacob Bethell picked out Rohit Sharma at deep square leg and fell nine runs short of a well-deserved hundred. Ben Duckett, meanwhile, made his start count and went on to convert his fifty into a commanding century. Duckett and Joe Root then added 101 runs for the second wicket before the southpaw was dismissed for a magnificent 141 in the 44th over. Duckett's innings became the highest individual score in an ODI at Lord's. At the other end, England's Mr. Dependable, Joe Root, continued his remarkable consistency, bringing up yet another half-century and making it six consecutive 50-plus scores in this format. England were sitting pretty at 305/2 after 45 overs when Jos Buttler (41* off 13) joined Joe Root (74* off 48) at the crease. The pair shifted gears spectacularly in the death overs, taking the Indian attack apart and plundering 82 runs from the final five overs. England finished with a colossal 385/3 from their 50 overs. It was a thoroughly ordinary bowling performance from India, with very little control or penetration throughout the innings. Prasidh Krishna was the pick of the attack with figures of 2/69, while the rest of the bowlers struggled to contain the English batters. Gurnoor Brar endured a particularly difficult outing, finishing with 0/97 from his 10 overs, as India also conceded 26 runs in extras. India now need to chase down a record target of 388 at Lord’s if they are to clinch the series All match details and score updates are sourced from publicly available information and live media coverage.
