The Blue Crew grows again, with the addition of a Porsche Cayman GT4 in Sapphire Blue! I head to Porsche Centre Colchester to collect the new car before setting off immediately on an adventure returning to the South of France to unite it with the McLaren 675LT and Ferrari FF that are based in Monaco. The GT4 is a special edition in the Cayman line, with a 385PS 3.8l Flat 6 taken from the 911 Carrera S, suspension components from the 911 GT3, a 6-speed manual gearbox and numerous new aerodynamic parts. This car was built to be a true driver's machine and it really and truly ticks all of the required boxes. No doubt coming as a surprise to many Shmee150 followers, the car has been on order from Porsche Colchester for many months and we've hinted at it along the way such as at the Frankfurt motorshow and via the Shmee150 Facebook pages, but never announced it was coming just to complete the surprise! The car itself is spec'd to be more for regular road use with the Adaptive Sports Seats and no cage/harnesses, along with creature comforts like Cruise Control and Heated Seats. It has a number of Exclusive options such as silver seatbelts to match the silver stitching and trim around the black alcantara and leather, and a pair of body colour matched keys. All of the usual technology options can be found such as adaptive Xenons, entertainment system, upgraded hifi, and more.
