The final set scores were 25–27, 25–21, 25–19 and 25–22 from Türkiye’s perspective, with the contest lasting 112 minutes. Thailand came out determined to make their final match of the preliminary round count. Türkiye responded in the second, finishing more strongly to level the match. They then increased the pressure, winning the third set 25–19 before holding off Thailand’s resistance to close the fourth 25–22. The biggest difference came at the net.
