There is evidence that suggests the remains of a planet might be buried deep within Earth's mantle. Scientists believe a collision billions of years ago, between a Mars-sized planet called Theia and early Earth, is what formed our Moon. New research suggests that a large portion of Theia's debris wasn't ejected into space to form the Moon, but instead sunk towards Earth's center. These giant blobs, identified in the 1980s, are much denser than the surrounding mantle and are believed to be remnants of Theia. They are located beneath Africa and the Pacific Ocean, each roughly twice the size of Earth's moon Don't forget to hit that "like" Button 👍 And Subscribe to our main channel! 🔔 - @GauravThakur-GSF
