Can I make a BOWL out of MAC AND CHEESE?! ✨Recipe: Ingredients: • 8 oz elbow macaroni • 4 oz Velveeta, cubed • 4 oz sharp cheddar, shredded • 4 oz mozzarella, shredded • 4 oz Colby Jack, shredded • ½ cup heavy cream • ½ can evaporated milk • 1 tbsp unsalted butter • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour • ½ tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp salt • ½ tsp black pepper • 6 eggs • Flour, for dredging • Bread crumbs, for coating • Oil, for frying Directions: 1. Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until just al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and garlic powder and cook for about 1–2 minutes, just until the roux is smooth and lightly fragrant (do not brown). 3. Slowly whisk in the evaporated milk, heating gently until warm but not boiling. Add the heavy cream and continue stirring until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened. 4. Add the Velveeta cubes and stir until fully melted. Gradually add the shredded cheeses a small handful at a time, stirring constantly until the sauce is silky and fully combined. Season with salt and pepper. 5. Fold in the cooked macaroni and stir until every noodle is coated in that creamy cheese sauce. 6. Transfer the mac and cheese to a container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until firm. 7. Line a medium bowl with parchment paper and press the chilled mac and cheese along the sides to form a bowl shape. Place a smaller parchment-wrapped bowl inside to hold the shape, then freeze overnight until solid. 8. Remove the frozen mac and cheese bowl and let it sit for a few minutes, just until it can be released from the mold. 9. Dredge the bowl in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs. Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust if desired. 10. Heat oil to 350°F and carefully fry the bowl for 2–4 minutes, until golden and crispy. Transfer to a wire rack and let rest for about 5 minutes. 11. Fill the crispy shell with fresh or leftover mac and cheese and serve immediately for the ultimate mac and cheese lover!
