Before Five Nights at Freddy’s, Scott Cawthon made small family games, mostly on his own. One of them was Chipper and Sons Lumber Co, a game about a friendly beaver running a lumber business, and it was meant to be cute. But players and reviewers said the characters moved stiffly and stared, like creepy animatronic animals. For a while that review almost ended his career, and then it gave him an idea: if his characters were scaring people by accident, what would happen if he did it on purpose? So he made one more game, about animatronics in a pizza place that move when you’re not watching. It took about six months, YouTubers found it, and it became one of the biggest horror series ever. He almost put a beaver in it, and decided that was a bit obvious. #minecraft #gaming #technology #bytetalk #halloween #fnaf #viralshorts #shorts
