Today, I'm riding the Saphir Odoriko Japanese Luxury Train inside of their 6 seater private room from Tokyo to Izukyu-Shimoda, a go-to vacation destination for many Tokyo residents. It's a unique train which offers premium seats with a view, in-train restaurant, and a whole lot more, which I’m going breakdown for you in this video. Saphir Odoriko is a limited express train service in Japan operated by the East Japan Railway Company, Central Japan Railway Company, Izukyu Corporation, and Izuhakone Railway. Saphir is currently quite popular, so I recommend booking the tickets in advance, especially for the private room or premium seats. For the 6 seater private room, I had to book 3 weeks in advance. This train has 2x 6-seater private rooms and 2x 4-seater private rooms and one car that is all premium green seats.
