This album was the first after Rick Wakeman left which you would think would be a hugh loss and I suppose in a way it was but as this album is arguably one of their best, obviously it was not that big a tradgedy. They introduced some very weird and cosmic effects on some of the songs and all in this album is a masterpiece! As a point of interest it was an incredible tri fold LP cover and the picture on the inside is absolutely amazing. I had it pinned on my wall from about 19 too 24 lol I love the Strawbs and have been lucky enough to have seen them about 15 times they have toured allot in the last 4 or 5 years as an acoustic trio or electric 5 piece the acoustic shows are lovely but I have to say if you are lucky enough to catch an electric show when there is good sound system and its a standing venue then its utterly mind blowing I damn nearly did my Knee in at one gig lol! and i'm only 36 so about half the age of most of the average strawbs crowd. All this tells me is the damn hippys have been way too slack in turning the younger generation on to epic late 60's bands like the strawbs its a crying shame. That's just a long way of saying check out the strawbs live people I need someone to dance with. They will completely blow you away I promise :) Enjoy!
