So, what do you get when you have pilots who take the reload mechanic, abuse it for more speed after taking purposefully slow builds, so that they have an unfair advantage over others - and then additionally, are so laggy on top of it that they can hit you with their melee weapons due to abusing FromSoft's netcode to get free thousand damage hits with little to no risk to themselves while thinking what they're doing is a "tech?" These people. You get pilots like this. Pilots, who don't know how to quick boost. Who don't know how to be evasive, who, despite being faster than even the lightest ultra-light biped builds - still complain when they get outplayed and can't keep up with people who use the space bar. Or, in the case of people like @CodenameMood - you'll call people who don't need to melee exploit, or use press the space bar - bad players and people who exploit by, you know. Jumping. Or, in the case of people like @AuroraMercedesVT you'll claim that any pilot who uses the S key to move backwards is exploiting or being "abusive." And, that everyone - no matter how lightweight your AC is, has to fight people like her in 130 meters or less, otherwise you're a, as both these pilots put it - a low skill hack and cheat, right? Gundam Meister lost with his lag switch, as well as melee exploits, as you can see by the way shots go where his lag tries to tell me he is.
