After nearly 17 years in this industry, and now at 37, I honestly started to feel like this dream was no longer in the cards for me. The past few years came with a lot of doubt and insecurity. I questioned my work, my path, where I fit. When certain rooms did not feel open to me anymore, it made me wonder if certain dreams were still possible. That is why this moment means so much. It reminded me that worth is not always defined by the places you once believed you needed to be part of. That we are all on our own timelines, and we’re all still learning and growing. I know there is so much to improve, but there is real power in simply showing up, doing the work, and choosing to keep going even when the doubt gets loud. At the end of the day, the only voices that matter are the ones that truly know you and believe in you.
