How to draw Scarlett Johansson time lapse as actor black widow movies and avenger member in marvell universe movies, From start until finish of this drawing I m only used one pencil : 2B - 0,5 mm mechanical pencil, Faber castle eraser and Paper from Faber Castell drawing book 200 GSM BC Paper. This time I will share my thinking when i draw Scarlett Johansson because everyones have its own beauty, its own unique, but different challenge and difficulties to drawn. 1. A lot of black shadow of her face as one key to make her face looks artistic photogenic and worthy to draw, but if i draw it wrong the black shadow will misslead to a wrong perception as a beard or made this drawing looks more like a man. 2. Second reason to made her face looks more like a man is her lip, althoughthe lip is her attraction but also challenge for this drawing, and for a glimpse looks majority man having more full lips than a woman. I will share few things to abot my drawing Technic : In the beginning I draw first layer with simple sketching in pencil pressure as smooth as possible because mechanical pencil is little bit shap and can cause a damage to the surface of paper. Smooth pressure is easier to erase because in the beginning I usually have high propability made many early mistake. when I m sure my drawing looks good, I will give 50% pencil presure to perfect some detail start from the eyes as second layer, sometimes after second layer I still realise the result is not accurate so its still ok to erase and start again several times. Now I will perfect my shading as an importand process to make the shape of chin, nose, and whole face, for doing this I like to shading only with pencil (not with hand, cotton, or brush) this give me flexibility to arrange percentage of pressure as lighting effect or shadow to make it looks 3d or realistic. We need 100% sure about the drawing before we give it 100 % pressure as a final looks So in this stage I will spend hours or days to make a correction here and there until I am sure about the result. I also focus to reevaluate all shading to determine which part of face needs more dark because of shadow while Imagining the looks in reality to measure pencil shading pressure for example : 30%, 50% or 70% Sometimes easier to make drawing looks similiar but the biggest challange is to make it looks pretty, happy, or funny. Add emotion aspect to face drawing is harder to achieve but it will give more satisfaction in final result. When whole face is finish as the part that need focus, analyse and thinking, it feel little bit more relaxes to draw hair, neck, or shirt as the part that make us feel more boring We need to be patient to continuing piece by piece, but still make sure the neck or hand texture as smooth as face texture.
