In the last few months, hundreds of reports have appeared all over the internet, all claiming to see the same thing in their Minecraft oceans - a sea monster called The Leviathan. But is it just a massive hoax, or is there something more to it? I'm going to find out. Voice of Hummer: @schpoody Voice of Arronax: @jumperwho ORIGINAL MUSIC BY: Ben Bracey (@benbraceymusic on instagram) https://soundcloud.com/benbraceymusic/sets/hunting-the-leviathan-original Download all the builds in this video for $5 on both Java and Bedrock!!: https://maps.wifies.net/products/the-leviathan DO NOT READ BELOW FOR SPOILERS: Well well well here we are again. I think this video is interesting in that the first 12 minutes can't prepare you for the remaining hour; as in the pacing is very different/the style totally shifts. So we'll see how that goes... I'm really fond of the ending I like how that last 10 minutes turned out. That final scene with hummer was inspired by one of my favorite short stories, "Hell is the Absence of God" by Ted Chiang. There are definitely some parts of the video that I think could be a little better like maybe the dialogue is a bit dragged but overall I'm pretty satisfied with the majority of the video. Thematically, I think you might be able to tell the kind of story I was playing around with, but I was also hugely inspired by the Lochness Monster. Probably some of my favorite parts of research for this video was reading the Lochness Monster wiki and learning more about the kind of theories/tools people use to look for it. The F3 scene on hummer's boat was inspired by all the sonar and stuff people use to check for Nessie. Also just a MASSIVE shoutout to schpood for all the hours and care he poured into this video. I'm so thankful for the enthusiasm and feedback he gave and the video would be so much worse without him. And thank you to my discord server members for making (almost) all of the fake reports you see in this video. They were super creative and did a way better job than I could have. ➤➤ Twitter: https://twitter.com/wifiestwt ➤➤ Discord: https://discord.gg/zAWUuWb ➤➤Links: Want to listen to or license the music I use? If any link redirects to an actual website - that is coincidental and do not treat it as "official"; it was just put in the video make the world feel more real. This is NOT series called Minecraft VVSauce where I explore random features of Minecraft. Not Secret Minecraft things or Minecraft lore (like Game Theory) or Escape Rooms, but an ARG that isn't an ARG but it's actually unfiction - a genre pretending to be real that isn't real but we all pretend to be real. This is the search for the leviathan. I hope you enjoy
