We forgot our 11th wedding anniversary… and somehow that wasn’t even the worst part of our day! 😳💧 After revealing the terrifying secret about our newly purchased dream home last week, we thought we were finally in for a relaxing fall day. But apparently, life had other plans! 😂 We headed to the beautiful North Georgia mountains for a fall adventure, starting at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, Georgia, where we spent the morning enjoying everything apple season has to offer. From there, we explored downtown McCaysville, Georgia, grabbed some delicious food, took in the mountain views at Boyd Gap Overlook, and enjoyed a cozy bonfire. Oh, and somewhere along the way, we realized we’d BOTH completely forgotten our 11-year wedding anniversary! ❤️😂 But just when we thought our day couldn’t get any more eventful, we received a phone call that sent us into a panic. Our utility company alerted us that our NEW DREAM HOME, which nobody is even living in yet, was using approximately 100 GALLONS OF WATER EVERY HOUR! 😱 Was there a major water leak? Had our new house flooded? And how much damage could be happening inside without us knowing? We immediately rushed to the house to investigate… but what happens next might be the first of a long list of things to fix.
