- Edit (4/25/23): Spaceuk has been exposed for cheating so IG I VERIFIED SLAUGHTERHOUSE Completed on 12/19/21. Let me just start by saying this level is SO hard. Like. I don't even know how or just WHY this is humanely possible. If you didn't already know, I decided to switch to 360fps after a few days of playing because it was just that difficult for me. I remember saying in my Tartarus video that I would not put myself through an experience like that ever again. I didn't expect it but this was arguably a lot worse than my experience with Tartarus. I found myself way more frustrated with Slaughterhouse than any other hardest I've gone for, but it had mostly nothing to do with the level itself, as I still think Tartarus is 100% worse by miles. Progress for the first 2 weeks or so went as usual, at a steady increase, but after getting 83% it seemed like I hit a brick wall and any sort of progression was completely random and out of my control. The consistent progress I make on a hard level is what's most motivating when playing so to have that stripped away caught me completely off guard and that's when I started to get genuinely frustrated. Every single death without exception felt like the biggest kick in the nuts. Level Rating: 71/100 Level Enjoyment: 14/100 Like I said, the level itself had little to do with this besides just being absurdly difficult, and I think I explained that well enough already, so I'm gonna give my opinion on Slaughterhouse: - The predrop (0-26) was genuine torture to play for the first 5 days or so. It was painfully inconsistent and boring, and I would pass it maybe once every 10 minutes. After this it got bearably consistent, but I want to point out how hard the predrop makes this level. It doesn't seem difficult but a 30 second half speed drag of a predrop immediately transitioning into the hardest 4x wave you'll ever see is super hard to pull off and control. That right there is the hardest thing about this level for me. - The first wave (26-33) and ship (33-46) were my least favorite parts excluding the predrop and probably the hardest from 0. They don't get very consistent, especially the ship, and the gap at 43% is equivalent to entering the lottery. - River's wave (49-58) is known for being the hardest part, and maybe that's true at first, but the difference is that it gets INSANELY consistent. Muscle memory is key here and once you have it, this wave becomes not only one of the fairer parts, but also surprisingly fun. - Iris' part (58-74) is not very good even though it is kinda satisfying to pull off. The ufo click at 60 sucks I cannot stand that RNG garbage. The wave is inconsistent but fun, and the straightfly is a god damn straightfly dude. - DrCuber's part (74-90) is pretty weird and it took the longest to get consistent at. It's fun once you get it down but it stays a bit uncomfortably inconsistent the whole time you're playing. The last cube deserves no comment. I'm just in actual shock that I didn't die to it. Here are all my deaths at and past River: 50x2, 51x11, 52x9, 53x20, 54x2, 55x4, 56x6, 57x2, 58, 59x3, 60x3, 63x4, 64x2, 65, 66, 79x2, 81, 83, 86, 88, 90x2 (Total: 79) So to wrap this novel of a description up, I'll answer a few questions I'm gonna be bombarded with right here: Q: What's the hardest part? A: Transition into the first wave Q: How does it compare to Tartarus and Firework? A: Considering I was on 360 for this and still struggled way more than I did with Tartarus, I would say this is about twice the difficulty of Tartarus which is way more than I expected to be saying.
