What have I done?! 😅 Welcome to Episode 1 of the Sealine 22 Project on Waggies Cruising. I’ve taken on a tired old Sealine 22 and, as you’ll see in this first episode, there is plenty to do. This vlog is all about showing you the starting point before the real work begins — the good, the bad, and the slightly questionable! There should have been far more video footage in this first episode, but in true Waggies fashion I managed to lose some of it, so this one is a mixture of the footage I did save, still photographs, and me talking you through exactly what I’m planning to do. We take a look at: * the original interior and woodwork * the upholstery and tired lining * the unforgettable seahorse curtains * the V-berth and sleeping area * the galley, sink and cooker * possible fridge / compressor cool-box options * storage and layout ideas * the classic helm and instruments * the electrical system * the canopy cleaning * and the growing list of jobs before this little boat is ready to cruise properly The plan is not to turn her into a brand-new modern boat and lose all her character. I want to keep the charm of the original Sealine while making her cleaner, safer, more practical and far more comfortable. This is very much the before episode. In Episode 2, the photographs stop and the real work begins as I start stripping out parts of the interior, cleaning everything properly and beginning the transformation.
