Comment, like, share this story. Kayley was singing with her Mom and her sister, with the Praise Team at Church. She was finished up at Church before her Mom and sister, so she headed out to the parking lot to wait at their car. She was going to get there and wait for her Mother. All of a sudden this red car appeared, kind of dark and scary, and it started driving up to her, following her. Kayley sped up, and tried to act normal - even though it was really creepy - she just wanted to get to her Mom's car, get in, and get away from whatever creepy guy was following her. But, when she sped up, the car sped up too, and it blocked her way. Kayley just stopped and turned around - confused, and a little scared - she just wanted to know who this person was and what they wanted. And then, the creepy guy rolled down his window. He was a heavy set guy who Kayley guessed was probably forty or more years old - to her, an old man, and not at all sweet looking. He leaned out of his window and asked Kayley what her name was. He was trying to act cool - it was not working - he was a total creep, a creeper, maybe even a predator. Kayley turned and walked behind his stopped car to get to hers BUT he caught her off guard, got quietly out of his car, and popped up at her car just as she got there. At that point she had pretty much had enough - this guy was weird and creepy and too old - it made her mad, and she just wanted to be done with whatever it was this creeper was after. "What do you want?" she asked. Of course, this overweight old man tried to act all smooth. He said "I wanted to talk to you because you look nice, and you're beautiful, and you look kind, oh, and because you have huge _______" Wait?!? What did he just say?!?!? It was so ridiculous. She'd been catcalled before, walking around her neighborhood, like a lot of young girls have, and that was creepy enough, but this guy was taking it to a whole new level. It was inappropriate and embarrassing. When he asked for her phone number she finally let him know that she was seventeen years old, JUST seventeen! She called him out on it, told him that following a seventeen-year-old high school girl and talking that way to her was beyond gross, creepy, and awkward, it was downright inappropriate. That got to him, because he slunk back to his car and drove away, ironically parking by the Church and walking in. Kayley hoped he didn't act that way with anybody else, especially in there! Kayley, and every other woman on the planet (by the way), thinks cat calling is really unattractive. Why would you want to call out mean and rude comments to someone, a total stranger, based on how they look? That creepy guy called Kayley kind, and that part was true - she is kind - but not if you're some weird old dude trying to get with her in the most embarrassing way possible. A nice "hello, how are you?" is exactly what people need. - - - We love this true story. What's your story? storybooth wants to hear it!
