Yes, I know the camera is facing the ceiling. Yes, I know it should be facing out. Yes, I know it is hard to tell what is making the shadow or where the voice comes from. Yes, I know this makes it difficult to figure out what is going on. Yes, I know you are frustrated. Yes, I know I suck. The only thing I can say is the same words as the ghost. “I’m sorry” This was recorded on a blink camera. It is an outside camera for the yard. It was all set and ready to be installed over my garage. I ran out of sunlight and decide to do it later. I came inside and set the camera on a bench that runs along the wall of the kitchen until it reaches the door that you see leading outside. When my place was built in the early 1940’s you would sit on the bench in the morning with a table in front of you before work. You would read your paper, drink your coffee, and jam to whatever Big Band tune blared, from your radio. Now the primary function of the bench is to hold all the things I am too lazy to put up properly when I come home. What you see is a shelf that runs parallel to the bench and then the ceiling. It was in the middle of the night, so there were no lights on. I’m not sure if the light that you see is created by the camera, or if it is the infrared that makes it look like the lights on. I’m pretty sure the ghost says “I’m sorry” at the end of the clip. He might saw some other words. I don’t know, I’m not too concerned about it. The less I think about it the better I am. I live alone. Thus making it impossible for anyone to have set the motion detector off. I was awake when I received the notification the camera had been triggered. I thought one of the cats was the culprit. (I keep the cats food on the far corner of the bench because the dog thinks she ’s a cat and wants their food.). I checked my recording because I was excited to see what the camera looks like in the dark for the first time. I saw the clip and heard the voice and decided I was not going to leave my bed until morning. I did force myself a few minutes later to go check to see if I had been broken into. I knew it was one of the ghosts but had to verify since I finally had evidence other than photographs yes I’m sure nobody broken said “I’m sorry” and then left.
