Somehow, I'm at the wheel of my friend Mike @Shinmikeyin's Pagani Huayra BC for a lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife! One of the fastest cars in the world, on one of the most dangerous race tracks that exists... what could possibly go wrong?! Some of my favourite car moments have been thanks to Mike, and this is right up there; the absolute dream to drive a super rare, incredibly valuable and exclusive car like his Pagani Huayra BC, on the Nordschleife. The day in question is the AVD Oldtimer GP Trackday, arranged by Bratke Exclusive Cars and Esser Automotive, an annual event with some amazing cars in attendance; both road and race. I've driven this very BC before with Mike, when we were in California a few years ago, and since then it's even been to New Zealand before coming to Germany. There's a very short list of cars I've been lucky to drive on more than one continent, and certainly nothing else I've driven like this on the Nürburgring! While I've piloted around many of my cars including my McLaren Senna, Ford GT, Lamborghini Huracan STO, Ferrari SF90 Stradale, AMG GT Black Series and more, in terms of the value it is something else to drive Mike's Pagani Huayra BC. Officially it is one of 20 cars, although it's known to be more than that, finished in the dual tone exposed carbon with painted details and plenty of bespoke elements to the bodywork and specification. It's powered by an AMG supplied 6.0l TT V12 making 755hp and 1,100Nm, with an automated manual gearbox that you certainly feel notching up a gear when you're pushing in anger.
